23×14 cm. 120 pp. Black stiff printed wrappers, excellent condition. Original appraisal form laid in, frayed at edges. An unusual piece of bookselling ephemera, being a listing of thousands of rare and sought-after titles with the Depression-era prices which this firm was willing to pay for them. Prices range from one dollar for many more common books to five thousand dollars for a Shakespeare First Folio and Poe’s Tamerlane. The price offered for the great majority of items is under ten dollars. A wonderful artifact of the antiquarian bookselling trade.
