Original 1/2 leather with stiff printed boards, slightly soiled. 40 pp., 4 single page map sheets, three of the four of which have two maps of vicinities of major cities – Boston & New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore/Washington, Charleston and New Orleans. The map of the United States, which extends to the Pacific Ocean, shows the mythical Lakes Timpanogos and Salado in northern Mexico, in what would later become the western United States. A combination gazetteer/history/almanac crammed with much information on the states and territories.
