Uncolored bird’s-eye view, showing every house and building, with 45 views of buildings at the top and bottom margins. Some light wear and small nicks and tears at edges. 5 cm. split at bottom of center fold. There is a small inset showing Hicksville 1885 with a view of the middle of town and 13 building views. This is a wonderful view of pre-Levitt, pre-highway Nassau County, just when its character was beginning to change from rural to suburban. There are still farms clearly evident. Many blocks are still totally vacant. Ex-Library of Congress.
