Uncolored map of Manhattan and the surrounding areas of western Long Island and southern Westchester County from the London edition of John Marshall’s Life of George Washington. The geography and features on this map are essentially the same as on the American edition of the same year, though the map has been entirely re-engraved. Shows the locations of troops in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and modern Queens with ships off the southwestern coast of Long Island. Very good condition, previously folded, with several light water stain spots towards the lower right.
