25×17 cm. Disbound, lacking boards. First signature loose, endpapers tattered at edges. 984, [2] pp. , 22 plates of which 12 are in full color and 7 are printed in green. One of the plates is a sectional view of the human head with 6 layers of colored illustrations die-cut and split between the upper and lower areas of the head. The plate of the human torso also has a flap with a cutaway view. Much of the very extensive text is used to describe the symptoms and treatment of common diseases and conditions, though there are also sections which specifically describe homeopathic treatments. This edition was revised from a work first published in 1892 and reissued several times over the next two decades. This edition is not in OCLC.
