1,490 pp. This is an original copy of a Sears Big Book, not a later reprint. The stiff front and back wrappers are in poor condition, with extensive chipping with some loss. There is some damage to the order blanks at the back and short tears, with no loss, to several of the last leaves, but the remainder of the huge book is in excellent condition with only scattered minor tears and blemishes. This contains the myriad catagories, too lengthy to enumerate, for which the Sears catalog was famous. There are many color plates interspersed through the text. While the appearance of covers is not good, the contents are fully intact, providing a comprehensive look at the goods which households, farms, and small businesses of the years just before World War I would require. Dated from the printing notation, “Rev. 10.20.16.” on the bottom of the order forms.
